Tours/Social Programmes
Cardiff Conference Bureau is able to help with ideas for tours and social programmes, for information please speak to one of our team.  Alternatively take a look below for a taste of what our city can offer.

Stunning
Cardiff is a stunning waterfront city with wonderful buildings and parkland. Visitors who come to Cardiff for the first time are always pleasantly surprised. Cardiff Bay has recently been transformed into an exciting leisure complex. The bay has been flooded with the introduction of the barrage, which has created a vast fresh water lake where you can take a boat tour and discover some of its history or maybe try something a little more adventurous such as a speedboat trip. It is the home of the first purpose built 5* Sir Rocco Forte hotel, "The St David’s Hotel and Spa". You can return to your youth at Techniquest science museum, stop for a coffee in the Norwegian Church or explore the many restaurants and bars, serving food from all corners of the world.

Relaxing
After a long busy day why not spend some time unwinding, there’s plenty to see and do. If you or your delegates are lucky enough to have spare time in the evening or maybe during the day, whatever your needs you can be sure they will be catered for, from the Theatre, Casinos, Museums, Restaurants, Bars and Clubs and probably the most important one of them all – shopping, recently voted one of the top six shopping destinations in the UK. The city has a wide variety of shops situated in modern malls and Victorian arcades. All this activity is centred around Queen St, the pedestrianised heart of the shopping mecca. Cardiff is compact and easy to navigate, dubbed the "10 minute" city, so wherever you are you’re never far from your next port of call.
