CARDIFF INITIATIVE SENDS BIRTHDAY GREETINGS TO BMI BABY
The Cardiff Initiative sent its best wishes to low-cost airline bmi baby today, as the carrier celebrates its first anniversary in the capital.
It is a year to the day since bmi baby kicked off its operation at Cardiff International Airport, launching its frequent, reasonably-priced flights between Cardiff and a whole host of European destinations. The Initiative is in no doubt that the advent of the airline has been a significant help in its work of promoting Cardiff as an easily-accessible European destination.
Cardiff Initiative General Manager Richard Jones said:
bmi babys presence in Cardiff has given us an enormous boost as a destination and we congratulate them on an excellent first year and wish them every success in the future.
From the point of view of enticing conferences from across Europe, or for promoting Cardiff as a destination for tourism, bmi babys flights have been immensely helpful to us. Its now easy and inexpensive to get to Cardiff being able to fly here easily makes us all the more attractive to the European market.
